Han in Carbo build thread

Let me preface by saying I KNOW it's not as nice, or as accurate as some. I lucked into the panel and have been working on this over the last few weeks here and there. I've got a set of panels on the way and haven't decided what color to paint it yet. I'm happy so far with what I've gotten done on this piece.

Wrong! Arrived cracked and broken in several places. Much fiberglass and bondoing was needed to fix this beast.

Nice reapir work :thumbsup. I hate working with fiberglass.

If I were painting it, I'd look for a spray can color close to Tamiya's gunmetal (X-11 if you want to look it up for reference purposes).

Thanks guys! You can't tell any of the cracks were there at this point, or the 90 screws I had to countersink in there! Looking forward to finishing it and thanks for the gunmetal tip!
