gretful dead / night flight / cartoon question

anyone remember the name of the gretful dead movie that has a cartoon music video in the middle that has an astronaut in full suit landing in some town. The astronaut has a opaque visor and comes across a dead/ dying person. He takes out a little white box with a red button on it and heals the person. He then starts being chased around by the townsfolk (while healing others - sonic screwdriver style) ultimately caught and crucified on a cross?

Wow, I used to watch Nightflight all the time. Sadly tho, I smoked too much weed during the show so I don't really remember much of them.....I remember I had fun....but that's about it..
