I searched, but I don't think we have one thread dedicated to inserts.
I wanted to share something I recently finished, an obituary of Professor G. Codirolli.
The basis for this insert in an ACTUAL edition of the Daily Princetonian, dated October 15, 1926. The Daily Princetonian was (and is) the college paper from Princeton University. I used Bazza's previous work on COW, but updated it a bit. Bazza sadly passed away a few years ago and this project serves as a tribute to his memory and generosity.
I should also give credit to QuantumGirl, who I believe presented the first made obituary.on COW, and Dbcooper, who also posted his version.

I spent a lot of time trying to match the fonts for the headline and the text itself of the Princetonian. The surrounding articles and second page are original.
After much consternation, I decided to change Bazza's choice for the Codirolli photo. While I thought Arturo Toscanini was a good match, my imagination had Codirolli a bit more tame in appearance. Also, The photo I used was a newspaper photo, giving the appearance of the print hallmarks of the time. The insert is printed on newsprint and aged.
Anyway, without further ado, here is the file for you to print and tear as you please! (scaled to be printed at 8 1/2" x 11") All I ask in return is for you to snap a pic of it in your diaries and post them here!

This is how (a previous version with a different date) looked in my diary after being torn and aged:

THANK YOU SAREDNAB FOR THIS TERRIFIC DIARY!
