Got My QMX Serenity Money Pack! How About You?

Got my Serenity Money Pack from QMX today. It's shiny. :) A nice authorized Serenity product.

No "Golden Ticket" for me. Not so shiny. :(

Funny thing. QMX's offices are in Royersford, PA (about 15 minutes away from me). The package came all the way from San Fransisco though. So, any hopes of just driving to pick up future orders went right out the window... GORRAMIT.

Got mine today, too, but no chance to open it yet. The packaging is purty, I'll give it that.

Hey, I heard the map is folded. Can you belive that??? :p
[/b]

I have heard that. Bad decision, if you ask me. Why? "Because the Little Things Matter™".

Nice money, so-so map. Did I mention that the money is 2mm wider than the screen-used bills. Feel free to chime-in with any complaints on that one.

The money was made to Geoff's source-file specs. These files (which I prepped personally, so this info is as correct as anyone is ever going to get) included cut lines that the printer followed - so if the screen used bills you have are 2mm smaller, my theory is that it's either because production was eye-balling the cuts on the bills they printed, or they shrank when they were soaked in the tea bucket. Interesting to know, though. When I get mine in, I'll compare to my stash of screen used bills, too.

How do the Qmx bills "feel" in your hand?

Thanks.
Jason

Actually, I posted a "review" in the "bitch" thread already. :p

The bills and money band are GREAT. In terms of the colors used, print details, and the paper, they are spot-on. The bills feel like "money". Very nice. B)

I was just getting ready to suggest something similar.

I think the entire package looks amazing. :thumbsup

I think when I get mine, I'm going to shred the money, roll it up in the map, and smoke it.

Matt buddy, you live in the bay area now. You ought to be able to find something better than that.

Can you say Humbolt County?

I'll have mine on Monday. I really can't wait to see it. I find the less expensive, somewhat more obscure (and remarkably awesome) replicas very rewarding and refreshing after some of the more expensive items that drain the old bank account.

I think I'll fold my map up into a paper crane. ;)

Thank you.

Received mine today. It's great. I really like the bills. Copyright info. is almost invisible. Excellent packaging. I feel like ordering a few more sets and filling up a satchel with the bills. :)

Looking forward to more from QMx. Especially that Mal pistol I have on order.
