Two things really 'sell' this as a living creature IMO:
1- the layers of translucent veins and skin
2- bits of 'glob' hanging off it from being in the egg

Looks like the Halcyon/Tsukuda vinyl kit. There was another manufacturer as well... never can seem to remember them, though.

I was just going to say, this is actually the second best to Got Maul/Allosaur's. I'd forgotten Dean did that one too! love teh pink hints on the dorsal side, and the gunk (liquid latex?)...

It did say that BUT it looks exactly like one so I am guessing recast in resin.

Thanks Dudes, Yup fun to do! As for the hugger if the maker wants to chime in he can. It is SOLID resin and heavy. It is going in a tube with water.

it is painted with solvent bases and water based paints with many layers. The goop is latex brushed on then rubbed off in areas creating the peal skin look, then sealed
