Thinking about making a casual everyday jacket based on our Paranormal Jumpsuit. Here's a digital mock-up of what I had in mind:

Some notes on the design:

• would be made in the same ripstop cotton as our v1 jumpsuit
• would include the "No Ghost" patch on the sleeve (which could be removed by request)
• changed the collar to a more standard bomber shape (slightly more pointed)
• the length will be determined by the measurements provided (shown here with a cropped waist-length)
• removed the internal stormflap behind the zipper
• waist has an elasticated band based on the back look of the jumpsuit

The name badge could still be included as an optional extra (perhaps design a smaller version so it's less prominent?).

So, what do you guys think? Price would likely be around $195 (shipped).

That's good. I'd need it long enough to cover the belly

I'm not sure if I can commit $195 or not, but perhaps down the track. It would be interesting to see a mockup of one with a longer waist.

A GB2 grey one might be a good idea as well. Have you thought about producing a monochrome tan GB patch for a more subtle look?

Nice! Pretty much the mockup I was making but hadn't uploaded

What I was thinking is that the whole thing is all the same tan colour, with the shape of the embroidery defining the logo... if that makes sense. I thought maybe the white could be tan ripstop as well, though you'd want to see it on a better mockup than my photoshop job!

I'd personally stick with the OG no ghost patch and a full sized name patch.

This is looking pretty good so far, digging the idea. Since people were throwing out GB2 as an idea for a different version of the jacket, may I also say I would THROW MONEY if these were available in any of the RGB color schemes...

We're going to whip up a couple of prototypes (one GB1 ripstop and one GB2 charcoal). We'll probably offer both the original and subdued arm patches as well as name badges for those who want them. Stay tuned!

Has the adjustable waist straps been removed? Or will that be added?

No, I've left those off in lieu of an elasticated waistband. Part of the reason is that velcro can wear out over time (this is being designed as a daily wear item) and it doesn't fit the aesthetic of a casual jacket as well. This is why the wrist straps were changed to snaps as well.

I think it looks pretty great. Definitely has a work jacket feel I dig.

Love it! Since this is an "off screen" piece of possible Ghostbuster gear...what about hook-n-loop for the No Ghost patch? This way you can swap out the standard one, to the subdued one...maybe a glow in the dark PVC patch.

Have you thought about pockets at the waist for hands?
