Get some rest, these woods are well protected (LOTR Room)

Absolutely amazing! You definitely nailed that Elven look! Having a cd playing Elven music would be awesome! Very interested in seeing this room progress. :)

Thanks for the great comments guys! I want to get another house only to set it up LOTR style!

I may add some elven weapons, maybe Legolas knives. I definatly need some stone walls, and some wood swirl type of things on the walls like in the LOTR movie. And puting in a real stone floor would be cool too. And some sort of large water fountain for the sound. And elven LOTR music.

Next summer this may be a totally different looking thread!

Looking good! I like that you have not gone over the top, but use "ordinary" objects that are contemporary but also fit into the LotR theme.

I have also set upon myself to decorate my next bedroom in a LotR theme, for whenever I get a bigger apartment. Something I have thought about is a bed frame or maybe just a head board that would fit the theme. I am curious to see what you have done, or have in mind.

Well said..... "not gone over the top, but use "ordinary" objects that are contemporary but also fit into the LOTR theme." I couldn't have said it better myself.

I have not worked my way over to the bed yet. I did just buy a nice bedspread from JCPenny and the valance to match. The valance is in the photo. The bedspread was $225, marked down to $99, and 40% off of that on sale to $59.00, and I had a 15% off coupon! The sale is still going on now, so you might want to stop by JCPenney.

I'm going to buy a rought iron style headboard (but not a cheap one), and wrap some leaves around it like I did the mirror over the dresser. What would look LOTR too, is a sleigh bed.

I want items that look like you stepped into the LOTR world, but like you said, not overboard.

Thanks for the compliments. I will be posting more photos as I continue around the room. I should have my map up (over the tall dresser) this weekend. Just looking for a rustic type, or "elven style" frame.
