Much to my surprise, there is actually a shoe phone shown in the new movie trailer:

Thanks for posting the screenshots.

At this point, I'm still partial to the original, vintage version, even though the new model remains a rotary. (Somehow the rotary dial strikes me as funnier than pushbuttons. )

If the shoe-phone is in the movie, can the cones of silence be far behind? :love

Some reason push buttons on a shoe phone seems like a LOT of dialed wrong numbers.
