Hi guys,

a friend of mine who is not a member of this board asked me if I could post some of this pictures from his General Grevious costume.

His name is Marco and he has got advanced skills in working with alloy, steel and different kinds of plastic.

Enjoy

Oh wow, I love his idea on getting around those legs. Poor Jedi Kid didn't stand a chance. lol
He did an awesome job.

Did he post a video up of this thing? If so I think I saw it and just remembered being temporarily baffled by the legs till I noticed the way they were being hid. Very nice

The leg thing got me too. I was trying to figure out how skinny that dude was.

I tell you, seeing that walk down the street on Halloween would raise my hair more than any vampire or werewolf.

Excellent job

Cheers

Thanks J63, so far Marco didn't upload a video of his version but he knows the youtube video.

Looks really cool to me. I just wish those first two pictures had better resolution.

Thanks darthgordon, I just called Marco to send me more detailed and better pictures.

You can see Marco in the last picture next to the costume. He is not really skinny .....

Thanks Sebastian, I just called Marco and the picture with his son lying on the grass was made behind a home supply market on a weekend. People were stopping and staring at him, so he greet them and started to dance.......LOL.

Thanks Conny, no this is not Marcos video, but he's planning to upload one. He told me that he took pictures and videos from the "Making of General Grievious"

I remember seeing those before. It's a clever trick, similar performance suits are the man walking with an ape inside a cage where the performer is the legs of the man and leaning forward as the torso of the ape, everything else is stuffed body parts. The black suit here works well to attract your eye to the Grevious pieces. Very nice.

Very awesome work! I love how he used the cape to hide his body.

All kinds of awesome! (y)

Awesome piece!!! Love Grevious and your friend's costume.

Thanks a lot for the kind words. As soon as Marco sends me new pictures I'll post them here.

The illusion is masterful, unless you're looking close at the pictures you're left wondering just how it's possible.
