Ok, I've thought I'd start to do a little homework with sintra again.
Right now this is were I stand. I started yesterday and worked on it not that much.

Tomorrow I should be able to heat the sintra and bend the left part of the chest. If it works, I'll make the right part and I'll have a nice chest

If this turns out half as good as your helmet it's going to be better than just about anything I've ever seen

I might combine this with my pattern to use to make my foam chest. Thanks for the template, it'll be a great help.

Nick, don't use that, if you can wait few days, I'll post the 1:1 template. That template is not good on the sides, since I've modified it a bit

Nope
It's the old dear 3mm for the big parts. I used the 1mm to make the small part that you see attached with the paper tape right at the top of the middle chest part. 1mm sintra is like SUN on a rainy day. I still have to use the 2mm one.

Stealth's "You win" made me laugh reminds me of when I used to play Tekken 5 in Oklahoma with a friend and I kept using Yoshimitsu. So when I'd win, I would just keep repeating YOSHIMITSUUUUU, WIINNNS!!!

Almost every angle on that thing is incorrect. I originally tried to make a pattern from it, but hit too many points of difference from the actual movie suit.

And yes, like TheNickFox said, that statue it's fairly incorrect, I think that "the art of Iron Man 2" artbook has way better references (sice there are pics of the actual suit)
