I've tried, there seems to be very other piece except thighs at the mo

You can get ABS cement at home depot for 5 bucks? I can't remember how much is costs.

ABS cement iis anywhere from $2.50 to $9.00 at my local hardware stores.
Depends on how much you need.

Look in the plumbing aisle and don't grab PVC glue by mistake. (same type of can with built in brush but won't work)
