Hi yall.. This thread will have more detail and information about how the suit will turn out but first I just want to post up some pictures of where I am at and who helped me along the way... There are tons of people on this site who I admire and learned from such as some people whom you already know if you are building or have built a suit already... You guys are great and inspired me to start this amazing new hobby..anyone who has any questions, feel free to ask me anything.. I'm here to help!
Stealth, projectearth, blackdynamo, surrealstudios, masked rider, xrobots, jayjayn, finhead, roy, eyeofsauron, darkside501, vos, darkjerre, Zabana, teragon, indiefilmgeek..and all the others who created the pepakura and foam files... there are still tons of amazing builders out there, if i forgot to mention you, i'm sorry let me know. There are also some great guys who did a lot for me so far with this suit such as Docholiday, therealstark, Tjack and pannaus props...
PAINT COLOR....
After tons of combinations, different red spray paints, and references on iron man painting, I finally landed on a color i was happy with.. All it took was this....
Bought iron man guantlet from Doc, the paint was a mixture that came about testing lots of duplicolor red's and combinations. I color I chose came from using duplicolor light grey primer + Duplicolor metalspecks retro red + duplicolor inferno red + clear coat. Here's a link where you can see many different reds at work!

The Gold will come later, but after seeing tons of pictures.. most likely i'll pick Sunburst Gold from Duplicolor..
Just for fun! mark 2!
Once i finished painting the gloves, I put Ryan's (therealstark) repulsors in to test how it would come out.. I stumbled upon this Tubalar washer set from homedepot for $5 bux. Works well with covering the hole from the repulsors and also there are some washers which would be pretty useful for elbows..
didn't know which one looked better.. i chose the thin metal piece cause the rubber one was too hard to paint..
The circle i cut out was made from 2 piece of a plastic bag. One piece was just thin white plastic, other was a smoked piece of plastic. I cut them out into circles and put them together. Then i layed one of the washers i found from the tubular set and put them on the glove...
Heres a quick vid..

I started making mark 4 suit pieces but then i decided i wanted to build a mark 7 instead...
Here is what i got so far..
I just received this helmet i bought awhile back from pannaus props, great detail. Couldn't pass that up since he sold it for 100 bucks.. I also bought one from Tjack, i'm going to compare which one is more accurate and probably give the other to my friend..
here it is
ok guys more updates later on.. going to work on my spidey build.. Have a happy holidays!
