Recently a client asked me to build them a British phone box as a gift for husband.

After looking at many of the different styles, I settled on the K6 because I liked it best and it's scale seemed most conducive for this project.
While I am trying to build this as accurately as possible, I have to take some liberties with it so it will fit in their basement. So this means I have to shrink the size from 8'4" to about 7'2" while still keeping the 36" width.
I've been working on this for a few weeks and started a blog so her husband could follow along with action as he awaits his Christmas present.
So far so good. I learned a lot from watching Philip Wise and Matt Munson build their Tardis and I hope one day to be able to take done of the techniques I'm picking up here for my own personal blue box.
It is a bit sad that I'm building the phone box and not the police box, but whatever the customer wants right?
Anyhow here is the link to my blog

I can't wait for any feedback!
