I wanted to see if there is interest in a small run of my full-size Lego space helmets.I grew up with this design in the early 80s, and most people now recognize it as BENNY's helmet.
The helmet cast in Smootcast 300 white resin and is designed to be proportionally "life size" so yeah, you can wear it. It features some "to-scale" battle damage. Some dents and scratches to simulate the scrapes and teeth marks these helmets tended to get when I was a kid.
Finished Helmet – $220 shipped in the US.
Helmet comes painted in your choice of the official Lego space colors – blue, red, white or yellow. Inside would be a color matching EVA foam liner. And you could choose your chinstrap to be cracked or untracked.
Raw Cast – $90 shipped in the US.
This comes unfinished and untrimmed. You'll need a Dremel to trim out the face area and neck.
All helmets would come with a laminated Lego face that can be attached inside the helmet for display. Either the standard Lego smile, or Benny's crazy smile.
