Fringe

Does anyone have some hig-res scans/pics of this Alternate Universe newspaper. I think it was handed out at the 2009 Comic Con. All I've found so far are some very low res black and white pictures of the inside and back pages. The only color photo is of the front page.

Thanks.

Now here I go answering my own request. After using different search terms I finally found these scans/pics on a Fringe fan site.

Get them printed up, wrap around another newspaper and enjoy.:)

Nice, im trying to think if we got a glimpse of it in the episode where Henry handed Dunham his.

These would make a fun gift to give friends their Alternate version

I went and found a screen cap of it on a fan site, this is the best view I could find.
Maybe someone could make it sharper and bring out more detail, I couldn't do it with my meager skills.

You can see a magnetic stripe along the bottom, along with what looks like text above it.

A few more Alternate Universe prop pics.
A banner for the World Tolerance Initiative.

A close up of the Nixon coin.

Another "Show Me" sign.

A much better view of The West Wing ad.

An Amber protest, notice there's part of some kind sign in the bottem left corner. I can't make out the full text. It appears to be an official sign. I checked the episode, the top says this:

Amber Alert
Amberization
Order in effect
Below that the Amber logo
Below that is block of text, but in the episode it's in the background and out of focus.

From the above protest picture. Here's a close-up of the NYPD insignia, I'm not sure if it's the same as a real NYPD patch. Could be another potential prop.

Our best hope is that that cap is from an SD source and not an HD one, and that someone here has the HD file and can take an HD cap

No, since I'm a CSI NY fan, it's different from the real NYPD patch or the logo. On the left it's normally "City of" not again repeating NY. On the inner white banner, it says "NYPD", the real's got 5 stars and the inner scale isn't on the real one, the real one has the city seal of NY with an larger eagle, white shield with some kind of paddles, on the left and right of the white shield, there's a pilgrim and and indian. Above the white banner with the five stars, there's a small scale.

A little searching found a slightyly better HD screen-cap of the back of the Show Me.

You can see a magnetic strip, text above it, and above that ???

Maybe some one else can get a better screencap or maybe even a pic of the back of the actual card.

Does anyone know who created the actual props, maybe we can contact them for info?

A little more info. When Olivia asks Henry the cabbie to wait, she recites off the information on his show me card. She mentions 2 items that aren't on the front of the card.

- Blood type
- Innoculations - with dates

Just a couple of items to be added to the back, unless we get a good clear shot of it from somewhere.

It reminds me of the machine-readable text areas on passports.

At Wikipedia

Two lines tall, with symbols dividing the fields of data.

I know it's not exactly the same, but it's something to consider if better reference cannot be found.

Thanks Mike, it does kind of look like that kind of code.

I'm still hoping someone out there may have some info on the actual prop maker.
