Just as a quick FYI, Disney is offering a free download of their Black Widow e-book, Black Widow: Forever Red. It's listed as a YA novel but since it's free it's worth a download and taking a chance on.

Is it only free for a 'NOOK' download type?

Never mind.. I see they 'all' have a free option.. to be added to their 'books lists'...

I dont see a direct download anywhere however (whatever format that would be?)

I don't know how the others work but for Amazon it's a direct link and with the exception of Apple Books it seems to be the same. Just choose your store/book type, click on the Buy Now button and it will take you the store where you can "buy" the book.

The Amazon way (for me)

gave me Kindle or 'Direct' link (which is kinda like an on-line viewer thing)

I have a Kindle so every e-book I order from Amazon is always sent to my Kindle, I don't know if you can have Kindle books sent to the Kindle app, but you should be able to do that.
