Well, I just cannot keep away from the old horror icons of Freddy and Jason, and after a really lucky facebook marketplace find, I've finally got one of my white whale pieces in my collection, The NECA Freddy Vs. Jason boxed set of Freddy's Glove and Jason's Mask. This thing came out in 2004 and is limited to 2000 pieces, with my copy being number 10 which is nuts. Both the pieces in this set are resin and tend to be pretty fragile, its not common to see these with all of Freddy's blades intact and without cracks so I'm even more impressed with it.
The pieces aren't designed to be removed but they're only held in with screws and twist ties, so I did pop the pieces out to have a look. The Mask is the same mold as the mainline Jason mask from VS that NECA had released, but this has a really accurate set of “leather” straps with the adjustable buckles and o ring, which is neat.
I also did a video breakdown on this thing, including a little video of the disassembled pieces.
