foam or pep armor (which is best?)

hi guys i am working over my mark 3 armor but really takes me lot of time with the pep files i was wondering to start my armor in foam is much easy
but.....the foam armor is so accurate like the pep system?

here is my thread i have the helmet almost ready but took me lot of time using this way i'll be 20 years workinglol:lol

it depends: foam is for fun. going to cons etc. it CAN be as detailed as pep, and the other way around pep can be really rough and not detailed at all, depending on the work

but for a detailed foam build, it takes a lot of work too.

advantanges of pep: Easier Details, hard, probably more screen accurate
Disadvantages: Heavy, lots of work

Advantages of foam: very light, cheap, faster to build
Disadvantages: not as durable, soft, prone to damages, less detail (depending on your work)

If you use lots of layers and different thickness of foam, you can get the same detail. The issue is rounded shapes for me.
