Hey All,
I just registered for the site, but I've been lurking here for the past few weeks getting tips on foam armor construction. Figured I'd post my results....this is my first shot at anythig like this and I didn't have any plans or pep files, but I'm happy with the way it turned out.
I based the design off one of the newer incarnations of Getter Robo, and specifically modelled it after a diecast toy version of the character made by Aoshima.
Anyways...hope you like it. It was a big hit on Halloween...everyone seemed to be fixated on the tap light in the belly
I'm 6'5" or so, so this thing stands about 6'2" on it's own (it can support itself...just needs some joints to hold the arms on)
