Hi all,
This is the HMCS ARROWHEAD K 145, one of Canada's Flower Class corvettes that were used for convoy escort duties during the battle of the atlantic. The kit is the (now discontinued) Revell 1/72 HMCS Snowberry. I went an step further, and scratched an interior for the engine room and a couple messdecks forward. The kit was built as part of the Canadian Naval Centennial celebration
and now, the pics!
humble beginnings:
the engine room
the forward messdecks
the aft bandstand had its exagerrated sidewall removed and some more scale installed
the bridge. Not much of the kit was used for this:
the engine, a three week ordeal!
Mostly done. I wanted to include these two to show the lighting I did
(I kinda like how huge the engine looks in this shot)
and here it is, all put together:
Question, comments, and marriage proposals are welcome!
