First spider man suit

Hello everyone! I really want to make a spider man costume for comic con new york, but I have some questions about making my own suit.

1. How do I make the eyes correctly? I understand some people use mesh, but it seems kind of hard to see out of, doesn't it?

2. I realize this is a stupid question, but if I find a really good swim cap, (made from Lycra, or spandex or something) would that be decent mask material? I'm on a tight budget.

3. Do you think a multi peice suit would work? (As in mask, shirt with gloves attached, pants, and boots)

Go the scarlet spider route, just buy a cheap red morph suit off ebay, a blue hoodie, spray paint to spray the spiders on, and some craft foam and mesh for the lenses. Check this guys page out. http://www.therpf.com/f24/scarlet-spider-costume-99-done-156987/

Well, I wasn't really planing to do scarlet spider, the morphsuit was a good suggestion, though.

I got a root suit off their website and drew my pattern on, made adjustments to the suit as ive painted with puff paint... I can't post pics for some dumb reason but my Facebook is full of them... I got some spidey glasses at target and cut them up and painted them black.. Hope that helps
