Finding Dory (Post-release)

Took my family to see it, LOVED it.

Warm, fun, and well paced for a kids movie. My autistic 12 year old and ADHD 9 year old both were riveted. And I got a lot of good laughs.

Gerald rocks.

Took my son to see this as his first movie theater experience (he's 3) and I thought it was charming and fun. He loved it...up until the last 15min when he fell asleep. :) It's dark in there and too near nap time.

I went and saw it last night and my family and we all loved it, I thought it was funny and full of charm. I thought that Sigourney Weaver's role in it was great and the beluga whale character was really funny too. I also enjoyed the new comic relief in this movie, the 2 seals, they were like the seagulls from the first but did more. Also, make sure to stay until the very end of hte credits, there's a pretty funny post credits scene.

Of course I saw it and I really liked it a lot. It's not as good as Finding Nemo, but it's definately got some charming things going on.
I thought the story was a little convoluted but other things made up for it.

Hank the Octopus was wonderful, as expected, and I wanted to see more of him. Loved the goofy duck with the bucket and really all of the toon characters were done so well. I'd definately see it again, which I can't say for most movies, so thumbs up for me!

I liked it ALOT more than i thought i would, considering the fact that i don't think Finding nemo even NEEDED a sequel.

Ed ONeil did a great performance. and I HATE saying that, considering I HATE that celebrities have taken over movies and relegated the great and wonderful voice actors of our generation to TV gigs only. even muscling in on some of the commercial work.

At times he didn't sound like Ed ONeil and almost sounded like he was TRYING to put on a voice, and in places, it worked.

they used dory's memory in good ways here as to make her charming rather than annoying for a full picture. Young Dory was adorable.

That whole brew haha trending on FB about the 'lesbian couple'. LOLOLOL. what a crappy way to try and generate buzz for a film. it was literally two ladies on screen for a second just walking together. God I hate the SJW movement.

anyway, this one is a keeper. no wonder people are still seeing it in week 4. I was hoping for a kid free theater, and no luck. at least 20 people.

I don't get the love for this one.

Just saw it with my 5 year old daughter. She was bored, I was bored. Nothing in it made either of us laugh, in fact I didn't hear anyone laugh in there and even saw a couple of people leave.

That said, it is a very well made film and it looks excellent.
