Finally got an iron man helmet and need electronics help!

Hello All

Well as the title says I must be crazy.... I keep saying I'm not going to buy another movie prop but yet here I am with another movie prop purchase.
I'm a big fan of the movie iron Man and all the avengers movies with iron Man in them so I finally purchased a Hasbro marvel Legends iron Man helmet. Missed out on these on the first go around of them but they pop up on eBay and Amazon but I just don't like the prices there prices are way too high so I ended up paying $95 free shipping off of eBay for this one. No box but the electronics work The helmet's a bit scuffed in places but not cracked and not broken. So I'm asking you all of my fellow replica prop forum members what should I do with this should I repaint it should I just put some silver rub n buff over the scratches and make it look like damage or should I get rid of it and get something different all together? I'll post pics of it later on when I have a little more time

Ok so epic fail today. Saw a video where a guy wired up his iron man helmet so that it would stay lit up while plugged in to the wall. Well I tried the same thing and it lights up....but I think I somehow messed up the board. The connections lifted off board. Not sure what to do with it now.

Hello All....solved my problem....bought another helmet! Found one on Ebay on a make offer. Got it for under 100 bucks. This one came with the box. Lights up and electronics work. Now question is what should be done with the old one?

The old one you could tear up and make the battle damaged one from the beginning of Endgame. It would be the wrong Mark, but 90% of people wouldn't notice. Or you can make your own battle damaged one.

Sooo....bought some led light up eyes and fit them to the iron man helmet. Reassembled everything. It's plugged in to the wall. 3 volts this time. I like the blue. You can see through the helmet eyes when they are off. Wired the lights to the wires in the helmet.
