For those that collect movie and tv jackets this is a fun new site I was recently invited to...it is a bit of start up but has some great potential with the right contributors on board...have a look at the description of the site below and make sure when you go there you click on the FORUMS....
This site was created so fans of the movie and television jackets can learn about the jackets worn in their favorite films. More importantly, it provides a single-source for listing the original manufacturers and vendors of these jackets. In many cases these original vendors are still producing these film jackets and offering them to the general public. What does this all mean? You can often find your favorite film jacket and purchase it from the same person or company who made the actual jacket you fell in love with at the movies!
There are often occasions where the original manufacturer of the jacket is no longer in business, or simply does not wish to provide the general public with these jackets. In that case, we list companies that provide quality replicas of these jackets.
Of course, many times when a customer purchases a jacket that they admired from a particular film, and then they put down their hard-earned money to buy it, there is some disappointment when the jacket is received and to their eyes it looks nothing like what they expected. Of course, that is because most film jackets are professionally aged. They are beat up so that they look as if they have been worn for years. That adds a certain character to the jacket and you will find ideas that will help you achieve your ultimate jacket here.
