Fifth Element stones

These would be great to get. Anyone offer a set? Search brought some answers, but very old posts

How about the ZF-1?

Huge fan of the film, but looks to be limited in props... Whats out there?

Another fan of The Fifth Element. Awesome!

There are no good replicas of the stones at the moment, no. But if you wait it out, the Hollywood Collectibles Group are releasing a set 1:1 to the originals early next year, as they have the license. They have some fantastic props from the film available to order at the moment, too. Such as Korben's blaster (I plan on ordering it in the next week or so).

As for the ZF-1, I wouldn't have a clue. I, myself, would LOVE a ZF-1 replica, and I've been searching for years, but I have never found one, and to be honest the only pictures of it I've seen are screencaps from the movie itself.

Ahem.. calling MattMunson. :D

EDIT: Also, here's another prop you simply have to get if you're a fan of the film: http://therpf.com/showthread.php?t=30476

I have always wanted a set of these myself. I have seen someone selling a set on E-bay for a few years (the same seller - I don't remember his/her name) but I don't know anyone who has purchased them so I am unsure of the quality.

WOW!!! :eek Gettin the blaster. Gotta have that! Awsome.

Keep the info coming guys, My wallet keeps getting lighter...

I saw those, but it really doesn't have enough information (for me, that is) to be paying that much for unfinished/unpainted replicas. I have never bought from those guys before, so I can't really speak for what they're like.

If I were you I'd wait it out for HGC's stones, but if you're not really too fussed about the quality or likeness-to-the-original, you could go with them. Or, there is another company that seems to be offering the stones:

I was about to purchase the set of 4 from them, but I had another good look at the photo, and they seemed a bit warped/off-colour for me, and apparently they're not the same size as the originals. They're cheaper than the ones on RareProps.net, though. But, like I said, if you're not too fussed about the exactness of them, go for one of these sets.

Does anyone know where I read about the functionality of the hero ZF-1 used in the movie? (It might have been Cinefex, not sure...) They mentioned how the functional prop actually shot most of the stuff you see in the movie (flame thrower and ice cube system were piped in from external sources, and replay didn't work _exactly_ as seen in the movie. :cool ). But the prop actually fired bullets, darts, the net and maybe even little rockets (I'd expect something like little model rockets though). I just can't find that damn article anymore... I could have sworn it was online, but it might have been a magazine... Unfortunately, I've never seen the cool book about the movie that gets talked about here occasionally... but maybe it's mentioned in there as well?

Man, great to see a Fifth Element thread getting so much attention! I love it!

Yeah, I'm with the other posters about the stones. Wait for HCG to do them. ALL of the ones I've seen out there are lacking in one way or another, and NONE match up to screen caps. I don't know if they were backup stones, alternate stones, stunt stones, or fan made stones. I think I've heard stories that support all of those. Fact is, I can't find a single one that matches screen caps, so take it for what it's worth.

NOW is actually a really great time to be a fifth element collector. Lots of things are available, or are going to become available shortly, that simply were not around a few years ago. The Korben Gun and Police Gun coming from HCG are things that I've been waiting on for a long time, and I know a few others have been to.

Its nice to see that 5E is interesting so many people, I for one lOVE the film. And there are many cool props used in the flick too.

And as someone said about the ZF-1......patience....:rolleyes

Here's a cool fella! :)

Who is this Matt Munson character? Anything posted about Fifth Element and he's there. Has a picture as his avatar that looks like he is auditioning for the role as Cyclops in the X Men and always saying he is going abroad here and there - mainly Italy. Well I've met him, and actually he lives in a dumpster, and the closest he has got to Italy is scraping the cheese of an old Dominos pizza box!

Real stones (translated from German):

An accurate Replikation of the 4 elements (wind, fire, water and earth) from the film "the fifth element" concerns of Luc Besson with Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. The 4 elements are manufactured from high-quality sandstone and have a total weight of 5,5 kg. This arrangement was brought out in a strictly limited edition from world-wide only 25 pieces. For fans of the film "the fifth element" is this piece of collecting tank a genuine highlight of each collection.

My first post and one of my favorite movies. I love the website for the new Fifth Element props and I am excited that someone finally ran with these pieces.

If I could ask a question, was the Corbin blaster cast from a hero or a stunt? Not to offend anyone, but the detail is soft and the lines on the body of the gun are not straight. If it's an original sculpture I mean no offense to the sculptor.

I was really hoping for a hero casting and after seeing pictures of the hero gun from one of the Profiles auction the HGC piece is a little soft.

I'll probably get one as it's the only thing out there, but I hope that the ZF-1 is a direct casting from an original.

Thanks and no offense to HGC, just curious as to the origins of the blaster.

Thanks again,

Dex
