Female Buzz Lightyear - First time build!

Hi everyone!

Ok, so this is my first post, and I'm starting my Buzz Lightyear girl suit for halloween!

I've just ordered my 18" 40 gauge dome for the helmet from Barnard Ltd.

I also ordered this wig because I figured I probably wouldn't have Buzz's purple head piece.

Here are some reference pictures for the body shape I'm going for, but the skater helmet just doesn't work for me :lol

Still debating a way to go about this, but I think some of the other L200 builds I've seen out there for Buzz would work best. This won't have to be as big and bulky as the men's ones, but I'm going to try taking apart a set of football shoulder pads as a base.

I know a little bit about electronics (not very much), so if there's enough time, I want to put in an LED (with sound?) into the arm, and possibly a phone mount into my other arm, like nbehling did in this thread.

Here's to having a bit of ambition!

Never seen a female Buzz; cool concept. Looking forward to your progress on this! :) Let me know if you have any questions on the LEDs.

I'm going to keep an eye out for those cheap "laser" guns they sell at dollar stores... Sometimes they have sound effects. In theory, I could just tear it apart and replace the trigger with a small piece of plastic, and then mount it into the arm.

I'm working on finding an alternative to L200 so I won't have to wait to get started... That's what I get for living in the middle of nowhere.
