Father Ted props or replicas?

C4 (here in the UK) had a Father Ted night a few days ago. I always loved the show and it inspired me to run a search on any props and set dressings used in the series.

The only thing I've been able to find is an archived image of the giant rollerblade from 'Cigarettes and Alcohol and Rollerblading' which somebody ebayed back in 2004:

Aside from that, there are a few versions knocking around of the Ted and Paul painting from 'Entertaining Father Stone' to be found on google:

Then the usual t-shirts, books, DVD's and so forth.

The holy stone of Clonrichart might be a fun prop to tackle, maybe in a scaled format:

Loads of paper prop opportunities...

How about the photo of Ted kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse?

Maybe some of the Craggy Island Examiner newpaper editions with the various daft headlines?

Any other FT fans on the board?

"OK, one last time. These are small... but the ones out there are far away. Small... far away... ah forget it!"

Love Father Ted.

Down with this sort of thing..

Careful now.:lol

Here's a typical Craggy Island Examiner headline:

What about some of the bottles Father Jack drinks out of? Floor polish, Toilet Duck, etc.
Other props that come to mind are the book Father Ted gets signed in "And God Created Woman," and the talent show trophy from "Competition Time."

What about the "C*** Power" magazine from "Rock-A-Hula-Ted?

"I knew a Father Clint Power, maybe she's having a go at him?"

Jack's floor polish / toilet duck etc. are good ones - nice easy props to get hold of, but I wonder how much the bottles have changed in 15 years?

Dougal's (corgi?) little milk float from the end of 'Speed 3'?

Dougal's joke telephone (the dog toy) from 'Flight into terror'?

Here's another one - Gary Lineker's book of ghost stories - lol:

I assume the text on the back cover reads 'Buy this book if you dare!' It was too scary for Dougal to finish.

There's also this map of Craggy Island, from 'Night of the nearly dead'. I can't find any hi-res images online but I guess it could be screen-captured from the DVD:

Too many great lines in that show.

My fav: "I smell wee!"

My wife's fav: "... it's got cocaine in it!."

Love that show! I watched both of the documentaries from "Father Ted Night." It made my wife say we need the boxed set of episodes.

During one of the documentaries they kept mentioning the statue out in front of the gate. To them, that seemed to be THE big deal prop.

I watched the special the other night on channel four and was wondering about props from the show, i'd love to get the small painting of ted and paul, and hang it somewhere, noone would pick up on it unless they knew the show

The image I linked to in the first post is fairly big, but I don't know how accurate it is to the one used in the show?

Positive ID on this one, it's a Corgi #466 Commer Milk Float (co-op).

The bad news is, it's a vintage 1960's piece and fairly pricey these days. Ain't that always the way?

i'm pretty sure the easiest one would be jacks pet brick, i used to have one on my desk at work, including a bit of string tied round it.

although a bottle of dreamy sleepy nighty snoozy snooze would be good,

as for the statue outside of the gate, during the special when they were interviewing cast members in the warehouse the statue was there. nots sure what the place was though.

That painting of Ted and Paul is on ebay for a fiver buy it now, looks the part, i seem to remember the original painting having more colour in the halo around teds head, but does it have to be 100 percent accurate?
