Hey everyone I know it's not a specific replica question but who is wearing a costume or attending torontos fan expo next month? Post some costume pics

I'll be there. I doubt I'll finish the War Machine for Fan Expo.
I don't want to rush that costume like the Mark III.

hmmm, I want to go as something...ah wel..

I'll see you guys there.

I'll be there, hanging with this bunch of nerds:

But I'll have a few other outfits I'll be wearing, Wolverine, Wolverine, and I might bring a Wolverine... maybe.

I'll be there as Raiden from MGS4 on Saturday and one other undetermined day. Redoing most of the costume as I had problems with it at Anime North, but I should finish it in time.

Awsome come say hey everyone, I'll be at the "devils latex" booth. We are the guys who make masks and props. I got some cool stuff fr this years show.

Andrew

I'll be there, but working and not in costume (in the Festival of Fear horror side at the Medallion Press booth).

We posted this on our Facebook Group page a few days ago...

Come see UD Replicas at The Fan Expo, Aug 25-28 in Toronto, Canada. We'll be in the Rue Morgue section in booth #1343.
The beautiful Liana K will be joining us and donning a full white leather motorcycle suit from a galaxy far far away...
:love:angel:cool

See you all there!

David

Awesome, I should be there with a Scarecrow mask on, haha. If anyone recognizes me, feel free to come say what's up, I'd love to meet some fellow members. Here's what I look like.

David, we're a few booths down from you at 1338/1340! Look for the giant banner of Pat Reilly's art (The Frenzy War)! See you tomorrow. :)

I had a great time.

My highlights:

1. Seeing the stunning work of 'Universal Designs'. I was pleased to see so many people interested in David's motorcycle suits and costumes. They truly go beyond being virtually 100% screen accurate(and then some). David Pea's integration of molded kevlar body armour into the suits is absolutely unique for so many reasons. Even for a 'non-biker' like myself, the suits David produces are unrivaled as costume pieces alone.

2. I met Lance Henriksen outside the main entrance. I’m walking around with my buddy, looking for a bloody water fountain that worked, and there’s Lance Henriksen walking straight towards us, literally. I couldn’t pass up the chance to shake his hand. He was totally cool.

3. My 15 minute conversation with Joseph Mallozzi. Without a doubt, the highlight for me personally. I don’t think many people knew he and Carl Binder were there. I’m pretty sure they were not announce at guests. By pure fluke I recognized him, being a huge Stargate fan. He was at the Space channel booth. Unbelievable. He asked me what my favourite episode was and said there’s too many. I told him how I had always hoped for the return of the Tollans. I felt like an idiot afterwards realizing that he didn't write any of the Tollan episodes. Because I’m a huge ‘behind the scenes fan, I asked him a ton of questions and he was so cool. Go figure he even took a picture of me and said he’ll put it on his blog. Then he introduced me to Carl Binder. I couldn’t believe it. As a longtime Stargate SG-1 fan, this was a 1 in a million chance kind of thing. It was like meeting 2 heroes.

My day was made after that. Well worth my $43 and the BS organization of the ticket sales I had to deal with.

My Lowpoints:

1. The BS organization of the ticket sales. I bought an advance ticket for myself and my buddy didn’t. As many of you found out, the trek to buy tickets, through the underground shipping entrance across the street was a little ridiculous, but that’s OK, I accept lineups. What I raised a stink about was there REFUSAL to let me enter the same entrance as my friend, yet I had the advanced ticket. We had to walk all the way back to the North entrance. Anyway, it wasn’t very convenient for anyone who attended with friends or family who did not use the same method of purchasing tickets.

2. My last living grandparent died at 3pm today. Right after I was having one of the most satisfying days of my life. At least it happened after all the great stuff. Anyway, she went quietly and painlessly.

It’s incredibly funny and ironic to me because I met Joe Mallozzi(I still can’t believe the odds of that) and Lance Henriksen, about 1 hour after being so angry I vowed to my buddy I would never attend Fan Expo again, and about 1 hour before the bad news. Life is really an interesting chance.

See you next year!

Had a great time this past weekend. This was my 1st Con in costume and I must say it was fantastic. I managed to meet David like many others and was absolutely stunned at the craftsmanship of his suits!!!!. He also hinted what his hopefully soon project will be and I likes! Not sure if David will read the thread but I'd love to see the pics (if any) of my buddy Andy who showed up as Darth Maul to try on your suit. Here's a few shots in costume. I may have met some of yous and if so hello again! My family accompanied me and were dressed as (wife) BikerScout, Uhura, and boussh my daughter was a sock monkey and BikerScout and uhura when my wife was not in it and my son was umm....kingdom of hearts something or rather.
