Fallout: Wasteland doctor

i am going to fan expo this year with my older brother, and e decided to be a fallout adventuring party(call it what you will) so i decided to be the wasteland doctor.
it is a fairly simple costume with mostly easy to find materials, but i can't find a medical satchel, or pouch or whatever it is!
also since it is such a simple and boring costume i would like a good weapon, headgear and/or add-ons
please help me! i need suggestions!

i have the costume nearly finished and all i need is a weapon, headgear and military(maybe?) boots.

It definitely sounds like you're making progress dude, post some pics. As far as weapon I'd maybe suggest a modified toy gun. I'm not sure what kind of heagear would go well with the Wasteland doctor outfit, maybe a pair of goggles. I'd suggest going to the Wasteland Outpost. This site is for costumeing and propping from all forms of post-apocalyptic media, including Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas.

I suggest regular combat boots with WWII legings. You should be able to pick them up at a surplus store. You could even get a medic bag there.

Headgear, go with a floppy hat, again at the surplus store.

For you weapon, just go get a nerf gun and paint it black. Good enough.
