Fallout 3 Costume

So, I've been thinking about redoing my Fallout 3 power armor, because I think it's crap at the moment because it was rushed together. I was wondering if you had any tips on how to make it better.

I'm planning on remaking the thigh pieces, part of the belt piece, the abdomen piece, the forearm piece, working on all the pieces and redoing the paint. Plus I also plan on adding the sides to the chest piece.

Very nice armor! Even though I am not that a big fan of the outcasts p), I really love it!

Only thing that bothers me - and that bothers me about almost any T45d / T51b build out there: Using normal boots make the feet look way too tiny considering the overall bulk of the suit. Maybe add some outside padding using EVA foam or something similar? When I made my (not so accurate) free hand powerarmor two years ago I made a covering for my shoes, maybe something similar? (Don't use fibreglass and bondo like I did, made moving around a hell due to the weight )

If i can offer a comment, and I'm saying this as someone who has never built a full set of armor or suit, so I am a noob at this.

Your (already awesome looking) armor would benefit from additional pieces to allow the breastplate to join the back under your arms, covering your sides.

Basically, for a full power armor suit, I am seeing too much of your body. (Sides, belly and upper arms)

Thanks for the comment, the pics are really helpful. I planned on making the side pieces, and even made them, I just didn't have time for applying them.

Oohh, that is a good idea to use foam. Yes, I did make the pipboy.

I think they look pretty good. The only, hopefully helpful, criticism I'd have is that the Outcast helmet looks a little flat. It looks squished vertically. Was it pep? If so maybe an adjustment to the scaling might fix it. I would maybe concentrate on that because the armor looks good, it just needs some adjustments to make things stay in the right spots.

I agree with the outcast helmet. I'm just impressed anyone has the patience to make these armors. i got the files but not the temperament for it lol.
