PRICING! Ok, where to begin on this? So I've heard back from the main shop. They've give me preliminary pricing and I'm not entirely happy with it. I have some negotiating to do. Today is Friday, they're closed for the weekend. We're also waiting to hear back from another shop and I might have a more local shop that is a possibility. I'm going to get in touch with the main shop and see if we can haggle a bit. There are a lot of people interested in this project and I really want to accommodate everyone as best as I can. Please keep in mind this is not your average lightsaber/blaster combo and I've worked really hard to design this so it's electronic capable without compromising the integrity/dimensions of the design. Now if, I were to just go ahead with the preliminary pricing the main shop gave me these would be running at about $495 each. THIS IS NOT A FINAL PRICE. I want to see if I can negotiate a lower price for this and I have a couple other shops I'm waiting for. But if...and I use the word "IF" this would be the final, is this totally nuts or, it is, what it is? Feedback please. Also, please keep in mind I'm making damn sure this is going to be a quality product.

I'll be completely honest with you, when I first saw that you were doing this project, I was totally prepared to pay up to $500 for it. After I saw how detailed the plans looked, I was afraid it would be one of those things that cost $600+ like one of the other super detailed lightsaber builds on here, and I wouldn't be able to afford that. I understand that not everyone can afford $495 and I probably shouldn't do it either but I really want this
If you're able to talk down the price without sacrificing some of your plans for it, then that would be awesome. But I would be prepared to accept the price as it is now.

I would be ok with it being under $500! Under $400 would be better but these lightsabers are hard to find so I think its a decent price. I mean we can always add electronics and such later ect..
It would be better if it's painted and weathered also..

Not a completely bad price still interested but of course lower would be great, as I would need shipping to UK. Like others I was thinking perhaps $400, but in the end it costs what it costs and has to be viable for everyone involved. Do you think these will come painted or just the raw machined parts?

These will be fully painted, finished and weathered. Did I mention the selector switch will swivel too?
