Executor class super star destroyer

This model shows, that there's no need to paint the "super structure" in a darker color, like many modelers do. The shadows from all those greeblies give it a naturally looking darker appearence.

This is so cool! I've build two Korbanth kits and also upgraded them, but this is something fantastic! The most beautiful SSD model I've ever seen! Please, upload work in progress pictures, its much better to look at pics then at video!

Somehow I never found this thread last year, that SSD is one of the best models I’ve seen on this forum. Great photography too showcasing the lighting. Great stuff.

This is just jaw dropping! You have perfected that kit.

Are you sure that the scale of the bandai Star Destroy is the same as the korbanth SSD though? The research I have done brings them out to be smaller. Like around 3.5-4 inches when in the same scale as this SSD? Regardless, it's beautiful...both ships.

compare bandai SSD.
I used original Korbanth kit, but most of rebuilding.

Love the details on the SSD Bandai - wish it was bigger!

Is there a way to scale up the Bandai kit so the model is closer to 12 inches vs. 4”?

Wonder why they do t release a larger version.
