Ever find pictures of people enjoying your items ?

I was doing a Google search and ran across a picture that looked a little funny.

OH MY GOD !!!! That's one of my phasers !!!! And some one has it at a convention in costume !!!!

I got so excited, I remember shipping one to Singapore, I've shipped all over and I know people really seem to like them but seeing some one with one of my items really made me happy. More happy than I've been all year.

Then I saw this picture

and it looks like once again I've made an item to large and I got the paint wrong.

Well I knew I couldn't be the only person that has gotten this excited over seeing people I don't know enjoying my items so I wanted to start a thread for everyone to share their experiences with running across people with your items, weather it's on the internet or at a con or where ever.

Yep, blinking red led, steady green one. The plunger on top switches between the 2. I only build them, i bought the project from my friend Replicaprops

I've often wondered what happens to things I sell (I don't make them but still)...From figures to props. I once sold a BSG marine vest to a guy on ebay, found out he bought it for BSG (as apose to airsoft or some other costume), and I never have seen him pop up on any BSG forum. Not that I expect to see people with things I buy, but he has always been a person I wondered about. :lol

I know, I'm weird. :lol

Those were the members from the Singapore Star Trek club as I recognise one of the faces (and mask) there. They did a have a round asking members for a group purchase of the rifles but I was too aftraid of the complications in Custome.

Years ago, I was to help do the electronics for the phaser rifles but then I got kids on the way and was too lazy to get my butt off after that. :lol

i have run across people at dragon con wearing my star wars wings many times and that is cool.
also ran into an old fett costume and a space 1999 spacesuit\ eagle pilot uniform.

The best I've got is I find pictures on flickr that other people have posted standing with me in costume from conventions.

It's weird that someone thought the picture they took with me was cool enough to post and share with their friends.
