Elder Beast Master Build + Bonus Suit Revamp!

Hey all! After the holidays I will begin work on my first suit, and my buddy dan (Lair here on the forums) is going to revamp his suit so I figured I'd start this now to start laying some ground work and hopefully get some questions answered for the build.

The overall design idea for my suit is heavily inspired by Elder-One's suit. My elder is going to be a beast master of sorts with furs and bone trophies and what not. Ill probably look at getting a blade whip type thing to hang from his belt as well as other tools of his trade.

Mask & Bio: This part im still not sure about. Ive been roughing out a bio concept seen here http://www.thehunter...65-bio-concept/ thats based off the wolf bio but im not sure what masks it will fit on (closed mouth of course but is it p2 or custom?). If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome. Also with the bio it will probably have to be custom sculpted but I have no talent in that area so it will more than likely have to be commissioned. Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated as well. If getting the bio made doesnt work out will a celtic fit the same heads? Does anyone know of any other similarly wicked looking bios that would work? For Dan I think he is going to be replicating a P2.

Suit: For my suit Ill be trying a modified technique of the Mr I costume design because of my size (thanks to The Director for the idea!). Dan has a suit or two that we might remake or just repaint im not sure. Whats the best latex to use for this. Ive read about the monster room stuff but are there any others?

Armor: Im hoping to pick fastburst's brain for some tips and tricks about his foamie armor. If we can make it look half as good then ill be satisfied!

Feet and hands: If things work out id like to get these sculpted and cast in latex. A good friend of mine whos rather crafty is goign to try topknots feet huntorial with me.

Painting: Ive been painting miniatures for wargames for just over 10 years so im hoping my skills there will carry over to this and translate well. Having a much larger canvas is a little intimidating however.

Im so stoked to get started and show everyone what we come up with.

Hey bro! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I too have painted miniatures since I was a kid and the skills transfer directly to this. I always list exactly what process I use on all my paintups with all brands of paint and techniques listed in case anyone else wants to know what works and what doesn't. I would recommend purchasing an airbrush to do basecoats and shading (as well as markings etc). Remember that a lot of the techniques you use on a miniature are about exaggerating tiny details (like drybrushing or line hightlights or even zenithal shading) that are not necessarily essential on a life-size model - after all it is the real thing - not a tiny model. Post any work you do as I'm keen to see how it turns out.

Hello everyone, when I found out lunchboxaz was going to do something like this, my eye popped with a big smile. I'm so stoked to have a friend close by to do this with. From what I heard there are more then 5-6 in Tucson, I hope that's not all

As Lunchboxaz was saying

Mask & Bio: Currently I have this, but may just start another one with Jason. My profile pic is the style I have, the mask has no face. A full face mask would look awesome and great to have

Suit: For my suit I'll be trying a some technique from everyone on my blank Mr incredible costume. In the past I have always got my suit already made and tired to do some of my own stuff. This time I want to do the labor and fun on the blank one. I will post my past suits. I think I'm going to go with the predator 1 style paint and armor, not sure.
