eFx Collectibles Announce THE AVENGERS Limited Edition Replicas

I guess we were fortunate enough to get our SHIELD badge from them at NYCC. But I do have a friend who bought one and still doesn't have hers. You'd think Marvel wouldn't work with a company that treats their customers this way, and would pull their licensing rights.

Maybe they're a throwback from the pre-disney days and now that they're owned by a giant corporation they won't tolerate this kind of small time behaviour. I mean their website looks like something from the 90s and in 2 years I've had 2 update emails and one response to I'd say over 10 emails.

It is with absolutely ZERO surprise that the first week of feb has come and gone and EFX haven't provided an update, either by email or by way of their website.
 
Just received an email that the Thor helmets are in the US and are being processed through customs. Assuming no delays in customs (but who knows on that) they said they'll begin shipping helmets this coming week.

My wallet is about to get a nice kick in the nuts. Ah, whatever... I'm really looking forward to it, plus, maybe now that the Thor replicas are out of the way we can finally get some updates on Cap's shield and the Iron Man helmet.

Haha, in their defence I did pre-order this helmet what feels like 20 years ago so the internet probs hadn't been invented :lol

love it that their pre-orders take so long they've got a system in place for what to do if your credit card has expired since ordering.

Yeah, this whole thing signing documents and all is such BS. Setup a damn paypal account, it takes two seconds and all the info you need to ship the items are right there. It's like they purposely choose the option that can take the longest. They won't even ship to another address other than one from the billing info on the credit card. So frustrating...

By the way, a little heads up: A member at another forum mentioned that he used the layaway plan and had to pretty much beg eFx to charge him. At some point they just stopped taking the payments (he said they were 40 days late). Apparently, they only replied back and we decided to pay in full for the remainder of the amount. So I suggest you guys just pay for the whole thing and get it over with.

Their email said email the for a shipping quote, which i've done, i need to see if i can afford it all in one go (i'd much rather that tbh) but if shipping if $100 then i'd be a little screwed.

I wonder how long it'll take for them to get back to me.


I've not written anything with a pen in years, not even sure i know how to. I'll maybe photoshop some text onto the sheet.

I was going to email them as well, but then I figured, it's not like I'm cancelling it so either way I'm paying it
 
yeah either pay it all at once

or pay three chunks, but given their track record of being useless i can't see this one going smoothly.
