Don't be. He probably just laughed when he saw that you weren't going to let him recast your ATST. Plenty of other ebay sellers around who aren't aware of (or even care about) his history.
Still - I'm sure he got the message alright.

just a heads up, as the MGL states, we can´t have "real names" around here.
In this "special case" of a banned member we´d appreciate if you´d not post a full name. And as already stated, there´s a lot of members who actually don´t want to read/hear that name anyway for several reasons
Since we are dealing with somewhat of a "celebrity" in the prop and ss modeling circles, the abbreviation of his name will most certainly be enough for the senior members to know who people are talking about. New members mainly need to know what ebay sellers/buyers to avoid, and can ask via pm who´s referred to.
If personal information about a seller/buyer is necessary for e.g. legal reasons, i.e. setting up a law suit for fraudulent sales behaviour or theft/recasting or anything remotely similar, then please exchange that information via personal message system.

The auction was a cancelled.
And I spoke to him over the phone.
Interesting,....that he admits he has recast several of the items that have been listed here. I also learned, he has quite the collection of model kits. Even some I produced, the remote for example, none of which I have seen a knock off of....yet. Will I? Wait and see I guess.
What he has recast...he says was long ago. Many items get sold..and resold, giving the appearance he is still selling stuff when he is not.
I have not checked auction dates, I have to take the word of folks here.

Also interesting, as I have learned....and confirmed through other sources, there are members of this board, who have used Mike Tait as their own personal caster for items THEY wanted copied, or where in production.
And yet...not one of these peeps will come to his defense when he gets blasted.
Now im not saying such talk is or isnt justified, at least ONE point in time I have no doubt it was, or still is for all I know.
I know it is hard to try and cleanse a reputation when it is soiled.
Takes years.
However, it is sad, that several of the folks I have seen here flame this person, I know for fact, have recasted things they did not originally produce at least ONE time in their "model Life"
Im not the board defender of anyone, but I dont like to see anyone beat on.
One thing I do know, ALL TRUTH is eventually revealed.
And....even when someone has done something wrong, How quickly everyone else seems to jump into the fray.
Always a sad sight, regardless of circumstances.
