Pretty sure it was a found item, but I can't remember what it looked like.

Don't see anything there that really looks like it. If I were to guess I'd say it was made for production. But I'm just not sure.

Well I'll be darned... I guess it WAS custom made! I always just thought it was one of these-

Still doesn't look too hard to make- a little quality time with a bandsaw and some 1/4" plex, a little putty on the joints... Piece o' cake!

I agree, it doesn't look that hard. The trickiest part would be getting the angles right. I think I may see about making a mock-up out of foam core.
