Dry Transfer rub on decals??

I'm trying to locate a source for making my own dry transfers. I've done some resarch on the 'net but the kit that seems to show up is one that goes for $90.00 plus you need a laminator machine which sells for $70.00. Has anyone found a less expensive system in their travels? :eek

When are dry transfer decals useful?I've never used them so I don't know how well they work. Can you apply them to gloss&flat finishes without silvering?

They look better than waterslide decals. You don't have the decal film issue. It makes it look like the graphic was painted on. Yes you can clearcoat it.

I've used them on a stock car model I did a while back and they are still in perfect shape. I never even clearcoated them! I used them on the gloss paint as well as the flat black areas on the hood and roof. :thumbsup They are the #31 on the doors and roof and the "scorpion racing ltd" logo on the hood as well as the name over the drivers door.

I checked out the link on the paper, robn1 and it looks pretty good. My question is does anyone in the US sell this paper? I rather buy locally if I can.
