I just ordered AVP gauntlets from the website dragonskinstudios.com they have some of the best fan made AVP Armour pieces , but I was wondering because after I bought the gauntlets for 70 and 80 shipping (about 150) I got email from the owner of the site and said there in the casting process , but I started getting charged by the same website and I send email today and no reply , I just need a legit check to see if anyone ever bought from here and got what they wanted in return or experienced these same payment problems

Ive never had a problem with Dereks service but I know others that have. Its been many years since I bought anything from him to. I didnt even know he was still making predator items and if they were 70 bucks US thats cheap for him.

Hi i bought AVP-Gaunts from him ,too. But he is skeptical to every new costumer for trapping a recaster. So my offer to you is , write him on Facebook . He is always at home in his workshop. But at the time i heard he maks some motorbike - parts out of carbon.

The gautlets are made from resin and added with fiberglas. So very firm to use. But the blads are only made from resin and broken by my first high five to a Fan Guy. I made by my self other blades out of "worbla" it is a matirial that be used in cosplay .

So you must also the gautlets assimilate to your arm bed . But that is not the problem for you .

I hope your gaunts are a better quality than the 1s I got from Derek years ago.  In short, they were unusable. I ended up buying Ruffkins AVP gaunts.  Ruffkins are amazing quality in every way. Good luck man. ;p

It's called being courteous to let someone know if you are/aren't going to proceed with anything, especially if they ask "let me know".

As for Dragonskin.  He's has negative feedback for a reason.
