Hey guys,
I thought I would share with you my Saiyan armour cosplay that I made for a floor costume for one of my local conventions. This was inspired by Vegeta’s armour, I’m calling it Vegeta inspired armour because well he is a male and I have made it to fit a female without trying to take away from the design too much. I made this based on the fact I love Dragonball Z and have watched it since when I was in school. As I built this to be a fun costume to wear and not for competition I had to keep reminding myself to get to caught up on any mistakes and making it perfect at the expense of time.
Anyway here are a few progress pics I have taken off my cosplay facebook page as I thought people on here might like to see J
Everything here was created by hand with my own hand drawn templates, made and worn by myself.
I’d like to thank the photographers that took the convention photos, muchly appreciated seeing these and the result of my work.
Hand drawn on paper and taped onto my mannequin..

Started using my base materials (3mm foam, impact foam, wonderflex)

Base coated, gold highlights the black detailing along with tail.

Another shot of the black detailing I'd done and more test fits, scouter made and trial fitted with the rest of my costume.

A few shots from the con
Will have a proper photoshoot with my partner when we get the time, so looking forward to that
