Dracula Family Crest

I looked high and low and was unable to find a decent copy of the crest- so eventually I had to illustrate and vector it myself based on the ring. The ring has lots of details that have either been worn down, or were a little rough based on the original sculpt- so I opted to make the crest as I thought it might look were it new, while trying to keep somewhat faithful to the ring design.

This is my carving in some HDU. I've glued it to some 3/4 backer to give it some more depth and because 1 1/2 " HDU is expensive!! I like to carve in 3/4 when I can and then glue to a thicker backing board to save on expense.

Now it'll get some final touchup hand carving (like the scooped wings above and below the shield) and then some paint!

I cut it out, added some hand carved details and have it primed. Next is some paint....
This one is about 15" tall.

Very Cool!

Before you paint it… MOLD IT!!!! :cool

I’m sure that Dracula fans like myself would love to have a casting of this!

Maybe try starting an Interest thread in the Junkyard Section… that is, if you are even interested in selling castings. ;)
