Dooku's Death Star Plans (Open build & research)

Despite what most people think of the prequels (AOTC in particular) I think Dooku's holoprojector with the original Death Star plans looks really cool.

I remember seeing a tutorial somewhere that explained how to make a replica of this using a bubble gum tape dispenser, but as usual since I'm looking for it I can't find the website anywhere. Would someone be able to help with this?

Anyway, once I get my hands on one of the bubble tape dispensers (I have a red one that I was originally going to spray black, but the local shops have finally got the black ones in stock (which means I'll have a lot of cola-flavoured gum to chew through [emoji23])

Anyway, I hope to begin the build soon, so feel free to use this as an open thread to show off your own replicas/somewhere to gather more research for the prop.

I've never even seen any closeup shots of this to get an idea of what it actually looks like. Are there other pictures of it?

Unfortunately no. I think it's more just a general assumption that the original was a bubble tape dispenser. (Still trying to track down that tutorial so I can show you what I mean) And the one above is pretty much the only picture there is as it was only seen for a few seconds in the film.
