1:1 BB8 static prop
Okay, I really need ppl to read the entire thread. The price of the "kit" is $800 as stated in post 22. The price of a "finished" version is an additional $300 as stated in post 55. I don't see how this is confusing as I posted everything in Black and White. There has been a few ppl asking for Jakku weathering. That's an Additional $350 as Rocket has a lot of airbrushing to make this screen accurate.
A clean finished version consists of Sphere prep, decal application, Dome painting and Dome application to where the buyer wants it placed on the ball. That's pretty cheap considering the work involved.

I'm not involved in this run but please allow me to comment.
it is rediculoius to expect people to read every post in a long thread. What most project runners do when new info is available and important is to also add that info as an update in their first post. This way all the info you want people to know is easily found by new and old post followers.

That all sounds great..but this is a limited run and all that info was sent to the people on the run..that post was to remind everyone..as some ignored what was sent to them. So expecting them all to read the first post would be ridiculous as well if they don't even read the emails sent...

Okay, we are now offering up just Domes. The full kit or finished kit is now closed.
Raw Dome $245 plus shipping
Domes will consist of a resin dome, 2 antennas and the clear half dome for the eye.
Finishing is always available for an additional fee

Okay, update time. The final balance payment will be due first week of March. Rocket will be molding up the dome and begin casting shortly after. All spheres and decals are ready. we are looking to close out the full size run. The domes will continue to be available for those seeking one. I will begin stenciling the location of the panels and applying soon after. Im going to PM/Email blast everyone on the list the info as well.

My wife tries to talk me into a BB-8 ("It´s so cute"), but i´m still undecided if i like vinyls. :wacko

Quick update. For those getting finished droids, your dome will be placed in that position and decal pattern will be exactly like this celebration pic. It seems to be the preferred look. I'm gonna start stenciling all the spheres tomorrow.

That's the whole idea. Get it as close as possible.

If we opt for the finished kit, will it be able to add head and body electronics later? And how, I mean will the dome be able to detach?
