i will be happy with what ever grips are made for this gun. It's a metal mal people! not something that pops up every other week. I just thank my lucky horseshoes to get one.


And thanks to Sarednab were getting one.

No idea about that. Might be that the lighter parts pick up more of the staining fluid (are more absorbent) than the darker parts, making the color difference between the two less visible... I'm not a wood-expert, but I guess something like that could be possible...

I have worked with wood , and you are correct....lighter wood shows stain visability lighter than darker wood.....every different woods from Maple (hard and soft ) to red oak , white oak , poplar , hickory , walnut , etc , all these woods can have lighter areas , that stain doesn't highlight as such , then when darker woods picked out for a certain piece....however going light on stain has that effect as well...the more stain you use on wood , with each coat, the darker the stain gets on the wood....each application of stain is added after each coat drys , so what stain is used on most woods are natural stains , however , in the case of these grips made out of walnut , I would guess , American walnut stain would be the supply of stain for this particular project....I could be wrong

OOOooopppssss...one more thing...picking out the right color wood is the start ....the wood grain and the color texture of the woods are the starting point on a beautiful finished piece

If i ordered a kit, would it be possible to purchase an extra set of grips to outfit my other SidKit?

Extra set of grips will be hard but I could try.
If you want a kit just let me know as soon as possible cause we'll close kit next week

Let me know if its doable and I'll get a Serenity kit, otherwise I probably wont order. I'd like my Firefly pistol and Serenity Pistol to match grip wise.

is it still possible to get one of the TV pistols with an extra magazine? Send me a PM if it's still possible. i'd prefer the completed version as I have a habit of getting a kit and letting it sit and sit.
