Once I start the run I will email everyone an estimated time on when to expect them to be cast.

First run is almost done.. belt and gear.. almost mastered. I will post up pics later tonight

I will send out emails later today and through the week about when you should expect your helmets to be done for shipping or finishing work

Im interested. But this may be a dumb question, but what the difference from raw cast and cold cast? Does one last longer then the otther?

Cold cast has metal powder mixed into the resin so that you can get a metallic sheen out of it.

It's the opposite of casting metal through a hot process like melting it and pouring it.

Basically if you want to finish it by polishing the helmet instead of painting the metal then this is the option you want..I find it more work and makes a heavier helmet

You may want to PM Hank Pym we did up some pieces coming out of the back/bottom of the helmet so he could attach some cords/tubes to it..

I was looking to find an interlocking metal hose like the kind seen in the actual costume. rather than a braided hose.

Depending on the diameter you are looking for (I'm guessing 1/4") look at bicycle break cables. There are a few that seem to fit the bill of what you are looking for.
