Yes sorry everyone for taking so long.. getting a bad batch of silicone is frustrating to say the least..cleaning uncured silicone...even worse
So all the molds are pretty much done and I have various casts..need to cast a couple more pieces and I will take some pics asap of the casts...oh and vac formed lenses..that just need to be coloured I will try to make it quicker. And I will start taking ful payments end of this week/early next week and start the first run the following week

OK so here are some pics of the first castings.....finally, I have made 18 molds in the last 3 weeks..so its been a process
They are not cleaned off..still have some flashing etc... and there are a couple extra pieces there to display the cold casting..some people have asked the difference.
Also there are vac-formed lenses there...pretend they are red..cause they will be
I would say if your going to paint your helmet or have it sent to GeneralFrosty then don't get the cold cast, makes a heavier helmet and it will be redundant.. those who like buffing out cold cast...my arm gets sore feel free to still let me know thats what you want

I know first hand how much work has gone into this and specifically the molds to make sure they are as good as they possibly can be, you guys are going to love this helmet! Can't wait to get mine!

Yes you will need to come up again and do some more props
You will get one regardless, just depends on order..I will do my best to get them out as fast as I can

I'm more worried about getting into the finishing quickly ;-p, hoping to have everything ready for fan expo this year - although with still no source for a suit the helmets probably not my main concern haha. Good work it's looking great ^_^

One thing I'm curious about, in those pics it looks like the mouth piece is overlapping those disks that connect with the antenna? Pretty sure the disks are supposed to be over top. Sorry I'm just calling them disks because I dont know what to refer to them as haha
*edit* never mind I think I'm crazy, was looking at it wrong lol, does the mouth piece fit up a bit farther?
