I have a leather Ant-man suit on the way. I can't wait to pair it up with your helmet.

Superior quality.

Looks awesome

Lots of post :) Hope it goes well with your outfit..who makes the leather suit..I want ;) and its the same size opening as my Starlord helmet..everyone seems to like that size. Cant really compare it to the Cap helmet since they are rubber.
Very very very interested.

The starlord is a great fitting helmet/mask. Glad to hear it'll be about the same size as that and not bobbleheadish :)

Looking forward to the next batch update photos!

Man, that is beautiful. How many pieces in the mold? Looking forward to it.

The helmet will initially come in several pieces but once finished and assembled it should be 4 pieces. In order to get the really clean look of the movie prop, we opted to cast the 6 top plates individually so they give off that true floating appearance rather than bond the plates to the main shell. Once painted they can be permanently fixed so
No need to hassle with them more than the initial placement. The antennae will be two more pieces that also become permanently attached after painting. The "breather" will be attached to the smaller arms of the mandibles which will fit in with the main shell of the helmet. The back and faceplate will be separate as well. That's the plan for right now. A few minor things may change in how the final assembly is before molding, but a finished helmet should be 4 pieces.

Hopefully that wasn't too drawn out and answered your question. :p

On the list. I do sometimes, but for this one I think the man to get it done is GeneralFrosty he has some amazing metal looks with his paint.. hands down the best I've seen

Oh man, those pics look all sorts of sexy!

Well Bimmer answered below.. I could also glue the 6 pieces to the top before shipping it out if thats an issue..but more on that later :)

Thanks Bimmer :) better explanation than I could write.

Re: Ant-Man Helmet run **New pics #99**

No issue either way. I'm just amazed at the detail. I love it. It is clearly not a simple little slush mold.

Re: Ant-Man Helmet run **New pics #99**

I'm very excited for these. If you've never seen a kit from this guy in person, you're in for a treat. Precision designs and superior castings.
