Re: Captain America TWS/TFA Helmet 3D Print **new pics #418**

And now somethign new... A prototype for the new Smithsonian Helmet leathers.. please dont comment on colour etc... still need stitching/sewing and brown dye.. Assembly and water forming.. working on the buckle in my "spare" time :)

Looks great !

Re: Captain America TWS/TFA Helmet 3D Print **new pics #418**

Hypothetically, could you do one without an A? I think this would work really well for a Daredevil costume.

Re: Captain America TWS/TFA Helmet 3D Print **new pics #418**

Which one? If you want a TFA/Smithsonian you need to be on the list and paid deposit

Not taking deposits yet...finishing up the painted helmets from the first run.

Thanks, hope to have a completed leather set early next week to show :)

You mean the TFA/Smithsonian? Nope, the A is embedded into the helmet if you take a look at the master pic I posted...

Oh okay, well thanks anyway!:) And if I bulk up between now and next Halloween I might get in touch with you about one of these. I'm a bit too lean to be Cap at the moment.:p

Re: Captain America TWS/TFA Helmet 3D Print **new pics #418**

OK thanks for the interest..but this will most likely be a one and done run.. Its way to much work/$$ to keep leathers around without a home for them.

Good god they are breathtakingly beautiful ! I'm so glad I went the fully finished option because there's no way I could have achieved such an amazing finish.
And I bet they look even better in person. ;)

On a side note, even if I am not on the list for one, I can't wait to see a finished "Smithsonian" helmet. It think they will look spectacular as well.

Re: Captain America TWS/TFA Helmet 3D Print **new pics #418**

I should have had you finish mine. It will never turn out looking as good as that!

Looks amazing, can't wait to get mine. I'm hoping mine is the lite battle damage one. Awesome work!

Re: Captain America TWS/TFA Helmet 3D Print **new pics #418**

Are you using a 2-tone stipple effect on the big open blue areas of the helmet, or is that just an illusion of my monitor image?

They look amazing. I bet even Chris Evans would want one!

Just PM me when you want a deposit for the next run of the WS helmets. I'd like just the finished helmet, no leather/chinstrap. I'm going to finish mine slightly different. Thanks for the amazing work, bye the way.

Kind of. 2 diff paints from the airbrush and the dome stippling. The some ink lining and a bit of battle damage. A few other things :) if Chris wants one I'll make him one up :)

Thanks...too bad you couldn't get in on this. One more run soon though :)
