Ok, seeing the new Avengers AOU helm pics... I think I might want to get a full on TWS helm here (i think it's super close if not the same, just slightly different paint)

Yes. To be clear for everyone. I am taking deposits for the WS raw cast helmet. The TFA helmet will be at least a week away. But I would need min 10 people in for the new TFA helmet.

I am still keen for one of the WS TFA helmets, same as Chris though, no PM. Any thoughts on if you are doing those leathers or just the cast?

FINALLY – all paid up!

OK I'm closing down the payments so I can start the run.. I cant do single leather sets..as I have to buy skins for leather..so 15-20 square feet of leather. This is why I needed payments to confirm numbers before I started making 10+ sets of leather.

Yep I'm still working on the new TFA helmet.. just a little busy since I offered the first 5 WS for people to use at the openings etc... so my other runs suffered. As soon as I'm caught up I will post some wip pictures for the TFA and start getting a firm number on people interested.. as I said before, I need 10 people minimum to make the mold and mold jacket/buy supplies to cast the helmets up...so its up to who is interested

Got the helmet kit in today! Quality work. I really should have gone with 60 shore to get more of a helmet stiffness though. Fifteen minutes later I got my second delivery... it was a good day for the mail!

Great they are getting to places before the opening

As for the 60 shore..its doesnt feel any stiffer..it just stretches less for people with smaller heads. I have 2 sitting here of 40 and 60 shore and you wouldn't tell the difference until you tried to stretch it over your head. With leathers in it..should be good and if you look in the movie trailer when Chris Evans puts his helmet on it flexes over his head..

Total noob question: What paint do you recommend? Since it stretches etc is there a technique or specific product you recommend? I have experience painting Star Wars helmets and other hard armor pieces... never worked with rubber before. :$

Ok... well.. the pics of the Avengers 2 Cap suit are out, and it's the exact same helmet as the TWS one (not the new TFA one)... sooooo... is it too late to get in on one with the strap kit? I hope not... I'll buy a whole run for myself if I have too... lol. Thanks

I saw some leaked photos and from what I can tell his costume looks great. The helmet did look like tws version but the wings looked slightly different. Did you find some clear photos?

Well I'm trying to figure that out, there are a few more people asking.. I would need to order another skin and dye...and webbing. and rubber...for more helmets...which is not a small purchase. So if I have enough people to do that I will probably do another run

Is this too late to join in on the fun? I'd love a WS/A2 helmet...

Also anyone asking about paint... I use acrylic inks and an airbrush...mix the colours to what I think is right..so no colour codes from me

Crazy how much difference that little silver painted "Wing" makes. Cool that it's the same helmet though, looks like we already got the jump on it

Btw for those who haven't seen the movie yet, it lives up to the hype. My favorite of the Marvel movies including Avengers and Iron Man 1. Go see it!!
