Due to the good deed that this is supporting I am very interested. I understand how hard it is and love that you are doing this for him. I will definitely be in for one, I just have one question. What is the head it fits? I have a 23 1/2" to 24" head.

Okay, total newb here... bear with me!

The sale is for the "raw cast rough trim" that's pictured in your first post? Does it need to be sanded/tidied up more, or is it ready for painting from this point? What type of primer/paint/clear coat would you recommend? I assume it would also need some sort of internal padding for comfort/fit.

That said, I'm not 100% sure if I will be buying (my friends and I are still deciding on next year's costume theme) but I'd like to get an idea of the amount of work needed so I'll know how soon I would need to buy. Could you please also let me know how much shipping (to Ottawa, Canada) and fees would be?
